Persuasive Speeches: Persuasive Speech; "Corporate Greed - How Much is Enough?" (5 min)

Word Count: 1031
Price: US$24.90

Speech Abstract

This very direct presentation addresses the issue of excessive corporate remuneration and its impact on the economy and the backlash on the average worker.  The speech argues that a clear lack of independence exists in the setting of corporate executive pay scales and the performance hurdles being all too often “soft” and subjective.  It challenges the shareholder and financial institutions to take a more pro-active role in overseeing the levels of pay paid to corporate executives.  Optionally, quotations from Thomas Jefferson (3rd President of the USA), Honore de Balzac and JanWillem van de Wetering accompany this speech.  (As with all Speechforyou.com presuasive speeches the views expressed do not necessarily reflect those of the company and are made available for academic public speaking and debating purposes only.)
